I’m so pleased to support Alison’s call to bring forward her book “A Bus Named Persistence”! She is such a hard worker and a talented chef who has collaborated in a number of community events at Cielo! She personifies Persistence!! - Kate 💖

Message from Alison:

Why? – I have lived and worked around the world as a person who one might call: “Rotating Hats” as a: Chef, Teacher, Nutrition Educator, Event Planner, Entrepreneur, and so much more…I have learned many life lessons and most recently over the past few years, a bus named Persistence came into my realm. Living on and off of a bus plus all the mechanical issues and the places this bus took me to, there was no choice but to feel propelled to write a children’s book series to tell the tales of Persistence, “Percy” for short.

She is a living, real school bus, which exists locally, which has taught me more than many humans could and helped me embody the name. I have so much to share about life in general and that bus of mine continues to help me live life vibrantly. The children’s book has a publisher and will be completed with your help by buying a hoodie, it helps propel the financing to make the book come alive. Please help support the dream of myself and to continue not only a children’s book but to one day keep travelling on that bus of mine.
